The 2015 Chevrolet Impala: The future is in sight

The Chevrolet Impala is certainly a car that reminds us of the good ol’ days. Well, at least the parts we loved about the cars of yesteryear. Those parts include interior space, comfort, unshakeable ride quality, and simple overall luxury. Now, the Impala has nothing to do with a vintage automobile. Redesigned last year, Chevy’s full-size sedan sets the benchmark for technological advancement and safety in its segment, and a remarkable friend on long drives on the highway.

Starting at $ 28,645, the 2015 Impala certainly has quite of bit of value to bring to the table. And with plenty of rebates and promotions offered right now, the Impala is more affordable than ever. There are two engines offered on the Impala. The base unit is a four-cylinder, 2.5-liter ECOTEC that delivers 196 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. Although the Impala is not a light vehicle by any stretch, the four-banger does a good job in every regard, offering sufficient power for the needs of most buyers all the while proving to be quite fuel-efficient.

And then there is the 3.6-liter V6 engine which provides 305 hp and 264 lb-ft of torque. Obviously, those wanting the very best will opt for the V6 which is always ready to push the Impala forward with confidence. This is a very impressive engine that combines fuel economy and power like few others can in the industry, and no others can in the segment. Quiet and smooth, the engine never rattles or squeaks, and the six-speed automatic does a great job transferring power to the front wheels without hesitation. In the fuel efficiency department, both the V6 and the four-cylinder stand out.

The ECOTEC’s average fuel consumption rating is 9.2 liters per 100 kilometers while the V6 is rated at 10.6 liters per 100 kilometers.

Inside, buyers get a beautiful interior that once again sets the benchmark for design, quality, and finish. There is plenty of passenger space, and the trunk can hold up to 505 liters. They do not call the Impala a full-size sedan for nothing!

On the road, comfort and quietness await passengers who will have plenty of space to relax onboard. In the back, there is quite a bit of legroom while upfront, your elbows and legs will have plenty of room to stretch.

If you are looking for an affordable blend of performance, reliability, technology, safety, comfort, and style, you need the 2015 Chevrolet Impala. Contact us today at Bruce GM to learn more!
